Clos Roussely Orange Sauvignon Blanc Menu Pineau Chenin 2023
Back in the 18th century, Clos Roussely was an outbuilding of the enormous castle perched at the center of the village of Angé-sur-Cher. Grown on limestone and clay this blend sees about 3 weeks of skin maceration and is aged in stainless steel. The wine is light bodied with super fresh notes of freesia flowers, finger limes and unripe peach.
Laurent Lebled "Je T Dans la Peau" Menu Pineau 2022
This wine is produced within the Touraine appellation but is intentionally declassified as VDF. The name of this wine translates to "I have you in my skin", an allusion to it being a macerated white. Destemmed grapes are given 15 days of carbonic maceration in fiberglass before pressing and racking to fiberglass for aging. The wine is light to medium bodied with notes of quince, mineral, mushroom, apricot and has lots of finesse.
Tutti Frutti Ananas "Nespola" Vermentino Grenache, France 2023
From forty-year-old vineyards planted over schist in Collioure, this is a blend of one-third Vermentino that spends three weeks on skins and two-thirds a direct press of Grenache Blanc, all aged in concrete. The wine is medium bodied, juicy, with notes of nectarine and pineapple.
