Producer information: The Dão region, is not just a place but a part of winemakers António's heritage. It's where his family, for many generations, have nurtured vineyards in a holistic and ecological way, instilling a deep respect for the land. The landscape and terroir, shaped by its people and geography, host a diverse ecosystem of old and new vineyards, coexisting with the pine, oak, chestnut, and cork trees in a wild forest. This diversity reflects the wines' personality and complexity, a testament to their love for the region.

Vinification method: Produced from typical Dão grape varieties, the grapes come from a plot of over 60-year-old vines situated on the slope of the Caramulo mountain range. Hand-harvested and fermented in a traditional wine press ("lager") with the skins for 1 week, then transferred to a stainless steel vat. Aged for 1 year on the lees before the bottling. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2.

Tasting notes: light-bodied, sage, lemon, thyme, rosemary, wild flowers, salt
