Producer information: Winemaker Giulio Armani has been producing wine in Italy since he was a boy. In his vineyard, named Denavolo for the mountain on which it lies, Armani strives to make vibrant yet thoughtful natural wines. Created in 2006, his winery is based initially on 2 hectares managed on a leasehold basis, the vines being around 30 years old.
Vinification method: For "Dinavolino," grapes are hand-harvested from 37 and 10 year old vines before being de-stemmed and macerated for 8-9 months in stainless steel. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation lasting for 15 days without temperature control.
