Producer: The Goepp family Vineyard was founded in 1950. The brothers Clement and Sylvain have recently taken over the estate with a goal to preserve the family heritage while transitioning to organic agriculture (they have been fully certified since 2020). With vines aged 30 to 60 years and harvested by hand, they craft wines without additives, letting the grapes’ natural purity shine. In their cellar, modern tanks sit beside century-old foudres, embodying their respect for tradition and commitment to the future of Alsace.
Vinification method: Organically grown on the Grand Cru Kirchberg De Barr's limestone-rich soils. The Gewürztraminer grapes were hand harvested and underwent whole bunch maceration for 7 days. Fermented with indigenous yeast. Unfiltered, unfined, no added SO2.
