Producer information: Florian Zaruba and his partner Janka helm the multifaceted operations of the Kristinus property on the southwestern shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary. In addition to the winery, the estate encompasses a farm, fine dining restaurant, hotel, and cinema. This burgeoning winemaking region, situated on the largest lake in central Europe, saw the establishment of the estate in 2005. With a current size of 55 hectares, the estate's expansion offers the opportunity to provide wines of exceptional value. Since 2018, Kristinus has embraced biodynamic farming practices under its winemaking stewardship.
Vinification method: Hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented & aged on the lees for 6 months partly in amphora, partly in used large barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2.
Tasting notes: medium-bodied, juicy peach, white flowers, lavender, mandarin, eucalyptus, lemon zest
